Meet Blue!

This handsome 75-pound American Pitbull Terrier is a two-year-old bundle of joy with a striking blue coat and white accents. Blue has a gentle spirit and is a constant companion, always ready for a good snuggle session. He loves to romp in a fenced yard with his favorite rope ball and thoroughly enjoys car rides. Blue is friendly with familiar faces and strangers alike and knows how to sit, showing an eagerness to learn more with positive reinforcement.

Ideal Home

Blue would thrive in a calm, stable environment. He can be uneasy with loud noises and thunderstorms, so a quiet home is best. He may chew paper or cardboard if left alone for extended periods, so plenty of one-on-one attention is important. Due to past altercations with other dogs, he may be most comfortable as the only pet, or with very slow, supportive introductions to build trust. His compatibility with cats and children is currently unknown.

Training & Support

Blue knows how to sit and is eager to continue learning. He benefits from a patient caregiver who can offer structure and encouragement. He may chew paper or cardboard if left alone, so providing him with appropriate chew toys and managing his environment when unsupervised is recommended.
