Tank

Tank is an 11-year-old American Bulldog mix who has truly stolen all of our hearts. He arrived at our rescue 8 years ago after enduring immense hardship. For four years, Tank was tied up outside, and when his owner no longer wanted him, he was left to starve. Despite this horrific treatment, Tank remained incredibly sweet and loving, showing an unwavering faith in humans. He was 30 pounds underweight, malnourished, and severely heartworm positive. We were able to treat him for heartworms, but he was then diagnosed with mast cell cancer. After two surgeries, Tank is now cancer-free. He is a 75-pound lap dog who adores people and is happiest simply spending time with his person or persons. He also loves to go for car rides!

Ideal Home

Tank is looking for a home where he can be the only animal, as he is dog aggressive. He would also benefit from a fenced yard and a family who can work with him on leash manners.

Ongoing Health

Tank is cancer-free after two surgeries.

Training & Support

Tank is strong and will need a family willing to work with him on leash training. We are very willing to provide training support for him.
