Violet

Meet Violet! This sweet and loyal girl, about 1.5 years old, is ready to find her forever home. Despite a tough start in Houston, where she was found roaming the streets and even shot at, Violet's spirit remains incredibly resilient. She's a world-class cuddler who will army crawl across any surface for affection, and her tongue is often playfully out. Violet is deeply loyal and loves to play tug, especially with the hose, but she is terrified of squeaky toys.

Ideal Home

Violet would thrive in a home with an adopter who is willing to continue building her confidence through training. She gains a lot of confidence from other dogs and would do best with a canine friend of any size. While generally kid-friendly, she can be a little scared of loud little ones.

Violet is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Violet is fully potty trained and walks great on a leash. She knows "sit" and is making excellent progress with place and crate training. An adopter willing to continue her training will help her confidence soar.
