Marco

Meet Marco, a delightful couch potato with a heart full of love and playfulness! This well-behaved boy is a true gem, already crate-trained and exceptionally good at potty training, making him a joy to have around. Marco's infectious smile and loving demeanor are impossible to resist. Despite a rough start, he radiates happiness and shares his affection freely, proving his resilience and inspiring capacity for joy.

Ideal Home

Marco is a low-energy dog who would be perfectly content in either a house or an apartment. He enjoys his walks, making him a great companion for leisurely neighborhood strolls. While his gentle nature suggests he'd do well with children, we recommend a home with kids ages 10 and over. Marco prefers to be the only dog in the home, as he exhibits a 'please don't come near me' attitude towards other canines, though he is not aggressive.

Ongoing Health

Marco is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Marco knows his basic commands like sit, down, and stay, and has decent leash manners. We are continuously working on refining these skills in more distracting environments, especially around other people and dogs. He is not a chewer or a digger and does very well in his crate, showing no destructive tendencies.

Transportation

Marco is currently being fostered in Texas. Our rescue provides transport to his forever home, with transports happening every week!
