Lilibeth

Let's meet Lilibeth! This sweet girl is a 2-year-old German Shepherd/Collie mix who weighs about 46 pounds. Lilibeth was brought into rescue with her litter of puppies and did a wonderful job caring for them. Now that her babies have found their forever homes, it's her turn to find her own loving family. Lilibeth is a devoted companion who loves to be by her human's side. She'll often follow you around the house just to be near you, and her favorite spot is snuggled up on the couch receiving pets. She has a special fondness for children and will happily follow them wherever they go.

Ideal Home

Lilibeth would do best in a home with a canine companion who is closer to her size, calmer, and a bit more submissive. She can become anxious around very energetic, large dogs. Lilibeth has shown she can be a bit of a bossy-pants, so a home that can help her navigate this will be ideal. She has done well with middle-aged children and has not been tested with infants or toddlers. She is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Lilibeth is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She tested negative for heartworm and is on prevention.

Training & Support

Lilibeth is house-trained and crate-trained, and she has excellent manners. She does tend to want to be the boss, so guidance in this area will be beneficial.

Transporation

Lilibeth is currently being fostered in Tennessee. If not adopted, she will be moving to a New England foster on 9/24/22. Transport may be available to approved adopters.
