Meet DANDY! He's a goofball with a one-of-a-kind grin and a story of resilience and heart. DANDY came to us after suffering severe abuse that resulted in the removal of his lower jaw. Today, his tongue-out grin is a visible reminder of what he has overcome, but it does not define him. What defines DANDY is his happiness and his deep love for people and friendly dogs. DANDY is social, energetic, affectionate, and full of life. He has done well with every dog we have introduced him to. He enjoys large playgroups and lights up during games of fetch, keep-away, pool splashing, and playtime with his best buddies. When you open his pen for playtime, he zooms into the yard like the best part of his day has just begun. DANDY walks beautifully on leash and loves to explore. He also keeps his space clean overnight at our facility, even with a much longer stretch than most dogs would ever be asked to manage in a home. He adores affection and seeks connection, leaning into every moment of kindness offered. He is ready for a forever home that sees who he is now: an incredible dog with a bright future.
