Meet Pepe Le Pew! He's a 9-week-old (estimated DOB March 2026) male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, currently weighing in at a tiny 3 pounds and expected to grow a bit more. Pepe Le Pew is the masked bandit of his litter, always on the lookout for a chew stick to snag! He's on the smaller side of his pack, but makes up for it with loads of love and charm. He's a big fan of naps, puppy kisses, and cozy snuggles, preferring cuddles over causing trouble. Pepe Le Pew is a true lover, not a fighter, with a gentle personality that's impossible to resist.
He was found abandoned on the streets of Houston with his 9 siblings and is currently in a foster home in Austin, Texas.
Ideal Home
Pepe Le Pew is a brave, social little pup who we believe will do well with children, cats, and other dogs when introduced appropriately. However, due to his tiny size, any other pets in the home should be gentle and experienced with very small dogs, and all interactions should be supervised. Pepe cannot be left alone for long periods of time. We are looking for homes where someone is home more often than not to help with socialization, training, and care. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours at a time, we will not be able to consider your application unless there is another adult in the household available to care for him during the day.

As we don't know Pepe Le Pew's parents, we can't predict his exact adult size or breed mix. Adopters should be prepared for some mystery and many puppy surprises!
Training & Support
Like all puppies his age, Pepe Le Pew is still working on potty training and crate training. His new family should expect to continue consistent training, frequent potty breaks, positive reinforcement, and patience as he learns. Puppies thrive with structure, routine, and supervision. Pepe Le Pew is looking for a family ready for all the joy, chaos, laughter, and love that comes with raising a tiny puppy.

Pepe Le Pew is currently located in Austin, Texas. He can be transported once he is matched to an adopter. Transport is included in the adoption donation.
