Meet Tobias! Tobias is a big, handsome boy with an even bigger personality. If you're looking for a dog who loves spending time with his people, enjoys a good toy, and is always ready to head out for an adventure, Tobias may be your guy.

This social pup has quickly become a volunteer favorite. He enjoys attention, leans into affection, and has been known to hand out plenty of kisses. Tobias is the kind of dog who likes being part of the action, whether that means going for a walk, hanging out with his favorite people, or showing off a toy he's particularly proud of.

Tobias loves toys and treats, and both are great ways to win him over. He's highly food motivated and enjoys interacting with people, making him a fun dog to work with. Volunteers have also noted that he settles nicely after getting some time to explore and stretch his legs.

One thing you'll notice right away is that Tobias is a strong boy! He can be enthusiastic on leash and would benefit from continued work on his walking manners, but he's also eager to engage with his people and enjoys learning when snacks are involved.

Tobias is heartworm positive and currently undergoing treatment, which means he'll need to continue activity restrictions throughout his treatment. Once he's feeling his best, he'll be ready to enjoy all the adventures life has to offer.
