Meet Benji, a charming 1-year-old hound mix who's as handsome as he is well-mannered! This 48-pound gentleman has soulful eyes and a nose for adventure, always ready to explore the great outdoors with his favorite people. Benji is a smart cookie who has mastered house training and crate training, and he comes with an impressive set of skills: sit, down, place, wait, loose leash walking, great recall, and polite door manners. He thrives on structure and routine, taking immense pride in being a true gentleman. He'll politely sit for attention, respects personal space, and is happiest when he has a "job" to do, whether that's accompanying you on a hike or simply being by your side.

Ideal Home

Benji would love an active family who enjoys hiking, running, long walks, or any outdoor adventure. While he's perfectly content focusing on his family, he's not particularly interested in meeting strangers when he's out and about. He would do best as the only pet in a home with older children, where he can receive all the attention, structure, and companionship he deserves.
