Meet Brody – a charming 5-year-old, 65-pound neutered male Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix who's ready to steal your heart! Brody is the perfect blend of playful energy and cuddlebug sweetness. He's got a goofy side that loves to play and dress up for any occasion, but he's also happy to lounge with you for a cozy Netflix binge. His signature tongue-out smile is guaranteed to bring joy to your home.
Ideal Home
Brody would thrive in a home with a securely fenced backyard where he can safely enjoy zoomies and off-leash play. He enjoys the company of friendly, laid-back female dogs and can be a bit much for smaller or more timid dogs. He's also content being your only furry friend. Brody has done well with children and would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy kids (ages 8-10+) who understand respectful interactions. He is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Brody is a healthy boy! As with all our dogs, we rely on our veterinarian's best guess for age and breed.
Training & Support
Brody is a smart, food-motivated boy who is eager to please! He walks calmly on a loose leash, is fully house-trained, and crate-trained. He's doing great in his crate, even when left alone. While he's made great progress with obedience, he can still get a little excited around assertive male dogs. With calm guidance and positive experiences, he continues to adapt well. He would benefit from a home experienced with intelligent working breeds like Cattle Dogs or Pitbulls, and will thrive with consistent structure, encouragement, and activities that keep his mind sharp, like scent work, agility, or obedience classes.

- Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time.
- We are a volunteer-run rescue, and we ask that you be serious about moving forward in our adoption process. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision-making process, please ensure they are on board before applying.
Transporation
Brody is currently in a foster home in Houston, Texas. He is ready to transport out of state once his forever family is approved.
