Riley

Riley is a happy, full-of-life dog with an estimated age of 1 year and a weight of 43 pounds. She was found as a stray and is now looking for her forever home! Riley is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She's a smart and playful girl who loves to be by her human's side and is eager to please. She's confident, curious, and has a goofy side, often hanging her tongue out to the side, which reminds her foster family of Stimpy from Ren & Stimpy! Riley has never been heard to bark and has no mean bones in her body. She's incredibly friendly towards strangers and is so excited to meet new people.

Ideal Home

Riley would love a home with a backyard where she can run and play, or an active family who will take her on adventures. She would also love another dog companion her size to run and play with. Due to her moderate to high energy level and playfulness, a home with older children is suggested.

Riley is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Riley is still learning to walk calmly on a leash, as she can get excited and pull sometimes. With patience, she will surely master this! She is already potty trained and crate trained, happily crating when her foster family is away and sleeping through the night. Riley is also great about sharing her food, toys, and treats with other dogs and shows no signs of resource guarding.

Riley is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible for transport to an adopter once one is lined up.
