Chance “Texas Red Heeler”

Chance, a young male dog, is a bundle of affection and loyalty. He thrives on human companionship, is gentle, playful, and intelligent. While independent, he loves being part of the family fun. Chance is a dignified boy who enjoys relaxing on the couch and showering his people with cuddles and kisses. He's also athletic and would make an excellent partner for runs or hikes. Chance is well-mannered and eager to please. He came to us after being abandoned and severely injured, requiring extensive medical care and multiple surgeries, including the placement of chest tubes. He has since made a full recovery.

Ideal Home

Chance would do best in a home without cats. He is good with other dogs and is kid-friendly, loving all humans he meets.

Ongoing Health

Chance has a history of severe injuries that required surgery and chest tubes. He has fully recovered, but please ask us about potential sponsored adoption fees to approved applicants.

Training & Support

Chance is trained to sit, is crate trained, and house-trained. He occasionally gets the "zoomies," which is a cue for outdoor playtime. He finds comfort in sucking on an extra blanket at night.
