About Gunner Hanks

My name is Gunner Hanks, but my foster mom calls me "fat boy" because I overindulge in cheese balls when I'm being a good boy – and that's all the time! There's only one thing I love more than cheese balls, and that's CUDDLES! I may weigh over 50lbs, but I want to sit on top of you every time. My foster mom uses this terrifying machine she calls a vacuum to clean the house, and spray bottles. I don't like those, but she reassures me it's okay and gives me more treats. I'm a big kid and I wait to go potty outside to get more treats. I like to sniff everything outside and spin in circles to find the perfect spot to go #2! Sometimes I forget how big I am and pull my foster mom, but she doesn't get mad at me for it. I love my foster sister; we play a lot. She's a big kid just like me, and we get along so well, but I don't like other boy dogs. I'm very protective and alert my foster mom when someone comes to the house that I don't know. She takes such good care of me, so I try to take care of her too! I'm definitely a lover boy who will lay in the bed with you if you let me. I'm great with kids too!

Ideal Home

Gunner loves to cuddle and will try to sit on your lap despite his size. He enjoys playing with his foster sister and is great with kids. Gunner does not like other boy dogs.

Gunner is house-trained and waits to go potty outside. He can sometimes forget his size and pull on the leash. He dislikes vacuums and spray bottles but can be reassured with treats.
