Pumpkin Lumpkin is a two-year-old Redbone Coonhound mix with a personality as sweet as melted marshmallow. She's a low-maintenance lady who loves to be comfortable, whether that's on the couch, in a soft dog bed, or even your lap! Pumpkin walks beautifully on leash and enjoys calm strolls around the yard, happy to just be near her people. She's incredibly tolerant and sweet with everyone she meets, greeting strangers with gentle wags and melting into affection once she settles in. Pumpkin is also a polite and unproblematic companion to other dogs, doing well with smaller dogs in her foster home. She could thrive as a spoiled solo princess or with a respectful, lower-energy canine friend. Calm, dog-savvy cats who respect boundaries would also likely be good companions for this chill girl. While she hasn't been officially tested with children, her gentle, tolerant, and easygoing nature suggests she could be a wonderful family dog. Pumpkin could potentially do well in an apartment setting, but a house with a yard or a more hound-friendly apartment might be ideal, as she can get a little vocal about her opinions. She's currently on a wellness journey to manage some extra fluff, but she's still an easygoing, happy girl who enjoys exploring.

Pumpkin is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide through our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
