MEET LARK — HAPPY AS A LARK

Lark is a joyful and friendly 2-year-old, 61.8-pound neutered male who was found weaving through traffic on a busy highway. Thankfully, a kind person spotted him and got him to safety. When an officer arrived, it was clear Lark wasn't a fan of leashes, but this never dampened his friendly and joyful spirit. During intake, he was a perfect gentleman. He didn't have a microchip or ID tag, and no one came to claim him after his stray hold. Now, Lark is ready to find his forever family! He truly smiles and is genuinely happy. Lark absolutely loves other dogs and quickly made friends with a female dog his size, breaking into zoomies with excitement. This sweet, friendly, and upbeat boy will make an incredible companion. He would like everyone to know there is no weight limit for being a lap dog.

Ideal Home

We recommend meet-and-greets with other dogs and children to ensure a great fit. We do not have information on how he does with cats.

Ongoing Health

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Adopters must establish veterinary care after adoption.

Training & Support

Remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to settle in, and 3 months to build trust.

Transporation

Lark is located at 430 Bristol Drive, Statesville, NC. We are a first-come, first-served, in-person adoption center. Please bring a collar and leash, or you may purchase one from us for $15 to safely take your new family member home.

• Sat: 11am–2pm
