About WOLFIE > Bleeding Heart Society

Wolfie is a gorgeous and unique approximately one-year-old pup weighing 63 lbs. He's incredibly people-friendly, gets along with kitties, loves children, and hasn't shown any reactivity towards other dogs. This athletic boy is high-energy, rating an 8 out of 10, and truly lives life to the fullest with joyful play. Wolfie is also a big softie who loves kisses, hugs, and snuggles, soaking up all the affection you can give. He's a gentle soul, taking even high-value treats delicately. Despite spending a good portion of his life in isolation, Wolfie is remarkably smart and attuned to communication, even sitting on command without any training. He loves treats, walks, adventures, and attention, with walks and adventures being his top priorities. His independent spirit and ability to make you laugh make him truly special. Wolfie is clean in his kennel and we believe he will adapt quickly to a home environment with consistent structure. He doesn't exhibit any storm or separation anxiety. While he's initially excited on walks and wants to explore smells, he settles down and follows instructions without much pulling. He behaves well in the car and is highly food-motivated, leaving no crumb behind! Wolfie likely has a standard prey drive, with no unusual behaviors observed.

Ideal Home

Wolfie would do well with an active family, or a person or couple who enjoys activities like hiking and is eager to engage with him.

Ongoing Health

Wolfie has no known health concerns.

Training & Support

Wolfie has never lived in a house before, so he will need some time to adjust to indoor living. A slow introduction to the home environment is recommended, and he should adjust well with time.
