Monkey D. Doggy is a 5-year-old, confident, athletic, and friendly Pit Bull mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for people and toys! He's affectionate, attentive, and always happy to soak up attention, whether that's belly rubs, gentle petting, or just being close to his humans. Monkey D. Doggy is easy to handle on walks, knows his name, and comes when called, showing excellent recall. He’s curious about other dogs and may pull to say hello, but he remains calm without barking or lunging. He enjoys engaging with his people, especially if playtime is involved. Fetch is his absolute favorite, and he's very ball-motivated! He's also a total pro in the car, hopping in confidently and settling down calmly. Monkey D. Doggy is athletic, enthusiastic, and always ready for a nice walk or a fun round of fetch. He can be perfectly content spending time on his own, as long as he has his favorite toys to keep him busy. He truly has the perfect blend of independence, playfulness, and affection, making him an incredible buddy on any trail, in any car, or beside any human.
Ideal Home
Monkey D. Doggy would do well in a home that enjoys spending time together and can give him the affection he so clearly adores. He needs durable, non-chewable toys that he can happily work on all day without wearing through too quickly, as he has a known history of chewing and ingesting non-food items, including toys.
Ongoing Health
Monkey D. Doggy has a known history of chewing and ingesting non-food items, including toys. While there is no known history of gastrointestinal obstruction and he is currently bright, alert, and eating normally, ingestion of foreign objects can pose a risk for future gastrointestinal upset or obstruction, which may require veterinary evaluation, diagnostic imaging, medical management, or surgical intervention. Durable, non-chewable toys are a must.
Training & Support
Monkey D. Doggy is easy to leash and handle and knows his name and comes when called, showing good recall. He may pull to say hello to other dogs but keeps his cool with no barking or lunging. He enjoys gentle petting and is considered easy to manage overall. Due to his tendency to chew and ingest non-food items, supervision and appropriate, durable toys are essential.
