Tux

Meet Tux! This adorable little guy is one of momma Trixie’s babies, rescued from a local overcrowded shelter. He's about 4 weeks old and currently weighs 2 lbs. His momma is a doxie/scruffy terrier mix weighing around 15 lbs, but dad is unknown. We estimate Tux will grow to be between 15-25 lbs as an adult. He'll be ready to join his forever home in about 5 weeks, once he's old enough for his spay/neuter surgery and second round of vaccines. We are accepting applications now to find the perfect match for this sweet pup!

Ideal Home

Tux is a young puppy and will need a home that can dedicate time to training, socialization, and lots of love. Since he's still so young, we don't have any specific dealbreakers to mention at this time.

Ongoing Health

Tux will receive his spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, and a vet check before adoption.

Training & Support

As with any puppy, Tux will need ongoing training and house-training support. New environments and routines can sometimes lead to accidents, even with the most well-trained animals. Patience and consistency will be key to his success!

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Our adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis.
• There is no fee to apply.
• A $50 non-refundable deposit can be made to reserve a puppy once your application is approved and the deposit is requested through Wags. This deposit is applied to the total adoption fee.
• The total adoption fee is $195, which includes vetting and spay/neuter.
• The remaining $145 is due at pick up.
