Emma is a 9-year-old, 16-pound Australian Terrier who, through no fault of her own, is looking for a new family after being owner surrendered. She may come from a long pedigree, but she's much more interested in being with her people, enjoying a cozy spot by your side, and making new friends. Emma is bright, confident, loyal, and full of personality. She's friendly and outgoing, representing her breed with charm, kindness, and a happy spirit. At 16 pounds, she's the perfect size for adventures or quiet evenings at home. At 9 years old, she still has plenty of love, companionship, and joy to share. If you're looking for a devoted best friend with a wonderful personality, Emma is ready to fill that role and show you just how special a senior dog can be. Emma is also one of our Special Ambassador Dogs, which means her adoption fee is a little higher—for good reason. Her fee helps support other dogs in our rescue who have greater medical expenses or specialized care needs, giving them the same opportunity to find loving homes and happy endings.
