Dexter is an 8-month-old German Shepherd mix who was found after being on his own for over a month! He's realized that living life on the run wasn't as romantic as he had initially thought and is settling into a less chaotic lifestyle. Dexter loves everyone he meets, is learning to walk on a leash, and enjoys playing in a fenced-in yard. He also gets along well with other dogs!

Ideal Home

Dexter would be a wonderful companion for an active family with older children. We are still learning about his interactions with cats, so a home without feline friends might be best for now.

Ongoing Health

Dexter is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Dexter is learning to walk on a leash and is doing well in a fenced yard. Consistent training and positive reinforcement will help him continue to thrive.
