Meet Elbie!

Elbie is a sweet, spunky 10-week-old Labrador retriever mix girl with a big heart. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people and may take a little time to warm up, but once she feels safe, her goofy personality shines through. She’s a big baby who doesn’t realize how big she is and absolutely loves to cuddle with her people. Elbie enjoys staying cool and will happily find the coldest spot in the house to relax. At bedtime, she may need a few minutes to settle if she’s sleeping in her crate, but once she knows it’s bedtime, she sleeps through the night. If she’s allowed to sleep outside of the crate, she’ll curl up and go right to sleep—and she has had no accidents overnight.

Ideal Home

Elbie needs a family that understands she may need a little time to adjust to a new home. Give her patience, love, and reassurance, and you’ll be rewarded with a loyal, affectionate cuddle bug who will love being by your side.

Ongoing Health

Elbie needs to complete her puppy vaccines and be spayed when age appropriate.

Training & Support

Like any young dog, Elbie is still learning. She’s working on walking nicely on a leash and is making good progress with potty training. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she’ll continue to build her confidence and learn quickly.

Transporation

Elbie is located in our rescue. Transport may be available to approved adopters.
