Meet Elsa!

She has quite a sad story of how she got to our care, but thank goodness she did!

Elsa was brought in as a stray with a HUGE tumor that was dragging on the ground, hindering her from walking, and getting scrapped open risking infection.

Our vet team came in on a day the shelter was closed to evaluate and develop a plan to save Elsa from the discomfort she has been living in. She underwent surgery to remove the tumor and also got spayed as well. You could tell the Elsa was immediately relieved and happier once she woke up. She got a pep back in her step and seemed to be a whole different dog!

Elsa went to foster to heal and recover. Now, she is still in a foster home but is ready to find her forever home!

She is crate trained, house trained, does well with dogs and loves the cat she shares her room with. What she loves the most though is her people. She wants to be with people all the time, never too much people time for Elsa. She wants to be loved and love you. She also loves to be outside laying belly up in the sunshine with a smile on her face (me too Elsa, me too).
