Gizmo

Meet Gizmo! Gizmo is doing great and settling into rescue life more each day. This sweet boy is the ultimate snuggle buddy – he loves being close to his person and will happily curl up beside you for comfort and companionship. When Gizmo first came to us, he was in rough shape with a long, dirty, severely matted coat, clear signs of neglect and time spent fending for himself. After a much-needed grooming and care, he's feeling so much better and starting to shine both inside and out. Gizmo has been through a lot, but he's proving every day that he's resilient, loving, and ready for a second chance. With patience and a gentle environment, he will make an incredibly loyal companion. If you're looking for a calm, affectionate dog who just wants to feel safe and loved, Gizmo may be your perfect match.

Ideal Home

Gizmo would do best in a quiet, calm home where he can feel safe and continue to build confidence. He is good with older children (7+) but has not yet been tested with toddlers or babies. He can be reactive to cats at times and has not yet been tested with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Gizmo is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Gizmo is crate trained (he may whine briefly, but settles quickly) and is currently working on leash training.
