Welcome to the adventure with Gulliver, a 7-month-old, 61-pound Goldendoodle/Anatolian Shepherd mix! Gulliver is an energetic, goofy, and wonderfully klutzy dog who approaches life with boundless joy. He's unaware of his own size and believes he's a lapdog, often attempting to fit where physics says he shouldn't. He was looking for a new adventure after his family moved and couldn't take him along. Gulliver is the perfect best friend for someone who loves to laugh daily and wants a companion who will shower them with attention.
Ideal Home
Gulliver would thrive in a home that appreciates his larger-than-life personality and can keep up with his boundless energy. He's a social butterfly with other dogs and would love a canine sibling who enjoys long play sessions. However, he is not suitable for homes with small animals as he has a strong instinct to investigate creatures small enough to be considered "bite-sized." Due to his enthusiastic nature and occasional forgetfulness of his size, a home with children aged 7 or 8 and older is recommended to ensure no accidental "I LOVE YOU!" body slams. A securely fenced yard is a must for him to safely burn off energy.

Training & Support
Gulliver is an eager learner and already knows commands like "sit" and "kennel." He is motivated to please and catches on quickly. While he is generally respectful of belongings, he does have a habit of "collecting" items like socks and stuffed animals. He's a curator, not a destroyer, and doesn't shred or demolish his finds. He will announce visitors with a deep bark until he's had a chance to assess the situation, but he warms up quickly to new people. His relationship with water is complicated; he enjoys the idea but not the reality of getting wet, though he loves splashing in wet grass and will happily redecorate floors with water from his bowl.
