Meet Gorgeous Atlas!
This sweet boy was born to his stray mama on November 14, 2024, in a tough neighborhood. Thankfully, compassionate residents cared for Atlas and his siblings until they could no longer do so, and we were able to bring them into our care. Atlas and his brother Grayson are the last of over 40 rescued puppies and adult dogs still waiting for their forever homes. They are beautiful, super smart, affectionate, happy, and healthy boys!
Atlas and his brother have been living in a foster home for several months, where they love to run in the yard, play with toys, soak up the sun, and snuggle with their foster mama. Atlas is incredibly smart and highly food-motivated, which makes training a breeze! He's a curious and very goofy pup, gentle, playful, and a truly sweet boy. Atlas is 100% house-trained, weighs about 65lbs, knows basic commands, and sleeps through the night. He’s a gem of a dog who will make a wonderful addition to any family. While we'd love for him to be adopted with his brother Grayson, it's not a requirement. We're confident he'll bond with another dog in his new home with a slow introduction and will certainly bond with his new humans! He has adored his foster siblings – a 100lb Lab, a 30lb Beagle mix, and a 70lb Pittie – and is submissive to them all, just wanting to play and show them love. While breeds are always a guess in rescue, Atlas is 100% adorable!
Ideal Home
Atlas would thrive in a home that can provide him with love, playtime, and continued training. He has enjoyed the company of other dogs in his foster home and would likely do well with a canine companion with a slow introduction.
Ongoing Health
Atlas is up-to-date on all his vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Atlas is 100% house-trained and knows basic commands. His food motivation will make any further training efforts enjoyable and successful.
