Chevy is the cutest girl, a 2-year-old spayed female who ended up at a rural shelter through no fault of her own. She's most likely a Doberman and Shepherd mix, weighing around 65 pounds, with natural ears and a docked tail. While her former owners claimed she was a purebred Doberman, she's 100% adorable and ready for a home that will cherish her. Chevy knows a few commands and is social with other dogs, but she needs slow, gentle introductions due to some insecurities, especially with strangers. She's been well-behaved during crate training and prefers not to be left alone outside.

Ideal Home

Chevy needs a patient and understanding home with gentle handling and very slow introductions to new people. She does not like being left alone outside, so she is not an outdoor dog.

Training & Support

Chevy can be insecure, especially with strangers. Her one endearing but cumbersome habit is climbing up for hugs. She has been well-behaved during crate training.
