About Elsie Bell

Meet Elsie Bell!

At around 2 years old and 39 pounds, Elsie Bell is the total package wrapped up in a beautiful blonde coat and topped with the most adorable ears you've ever seen. Sometimes they're up, sometimes they're down, and sometimes they seem to have a mind of their own and point off in completely different directions. We consider them one of her many charming features.

Elsie is the kind of dog her foster describes as a true gem and a treasure, and we couldn't agree more. She has wonderful house manners, is house trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. She doesn't jump on the furniture (without invitation), takes treats gently, and is content entertaining herself with toys and chews.

While Elsie is a sweet and gentle soul, she can be a little timid when something worries her. Her signature move when faced with something scary is simply lowering her head and pretending it doesn't exist. It's impossible not to find her endearing.

Elsie gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions around. She also has a refined palate and proudly considers herself an ice cream connoisseur. If you're willing to share a pup cup every now and then, you'll quickly become one of her favorite people.

Storms aren't Elsie's favorite thing. She doesn't panic or act out, but she would much rather stay safely inside than venture out into questionable weather. Given the choice, she'll happily wait for the skies to clear before handling her business.

Elsie settles nicely in her crate when you leave. However when you're home and at night she prefers to sleep on a comfy dog bed next to you.

If you're looking for a gentle, well-mannered companion with a heart of gold, fantastic ears, and a love of ice cream, Elsie Bell may be the perfect addition to your family.
