Nick

Nick is a 1.5-year-old Siberian Husky with striking eyes and a big personality packed into his 51-pound frame. True to his breed, Nick is full of energy, mischief, and charm—he’s the definition of husky spirit! Nick’s journey hasn’t been the smoothest. He was adopted out by a shelter and quickly returned due to behavioral concerns, including breaking out of a canvas crate, chewing wires, and mouthing his previous owner. The shelter had adopted him out to the wrong family who didn't understand his needs. That's when the shelter decided he could only leave again with a rescue, and we brought him into our program. Nick is super active and loves other dogs, especially those who enjoy rough-and-tumble play. He is still in the mouthy/nippy phase, so a home without small children is best. He can be vocal at times.

Ideal Home

Nick needs a home with a fenced yard or a very active family committed to leash exercise. He would also thrive with a family that can take him to doggy daycare or on dog park adventures.

Training & Support

Nick needs a patient home ready to continue working on manners. He is housebroken and crate trained, though he prefers sturdy crates. He has a history of breaking out of canvas crates, chewing wires, and mouthing, so continued guidance will be beneficial.
