Meet Coast, a 3-year-old pittie/boxer mix with a heart as big as the horizon! Originally abandoned in the New Mexico desert, Coast hasn’t let his past dim his light. This resilient boy wakes up every day thrilled just to be alive and truly loves existing — soaking up sunshine, making new friends, and celebrating life one squeaky toy at a time. Coast is spunky, affectionate, and overflowing with love. Hand him a squeaky toy and watch him absolutely shine — his whole face lights up, and his playful spirit takes center stage. He’s wonderfully mannered, eager to please, and enjoys being part of whatever adventure you have in mind. Whether it’s a hike, a car ride, or just lounging together after a long day, Coast is happiest by your side. Despite everything he’s gone through, this sweet boy remains joyful, loyal, and ready to pour his whole heart into a forever family. Ongoing Health

All vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping, has been completed.

Training & Support

Coast is wonderfully mannered and eager to please. We know our dogs very well and have spent countless hours with them, learning all of their quirks and goofy personalities. Our team of dedicated animal care professionals work day in and day out to bring every Little Hero out of their shell. From the moment they are accepted into our program, we provide behavior & medical care to prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally training, and providing social enrichment. We provide socialization for our dogs through playgroups and one-on-one bonding time, where we will also work on their other skills such as leash training and basic commands. Our goal is to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts and just want someone to be understanding with them, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• For those being picked up at our Angleton, Tx location, the adoption fee is $75 and includes all vetting.
• The adoption and transportation ranges from $100-$500.
• Private custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request with financial responsibility on the adopted family.

Transportation

Coast is available for transportation in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH (predetermined locations and times). Our transport buses or vans are equipped with air conditioning for comfort, and onboard attendants provide 24-hour care. You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you!
