Meet Babirusa, a sweet and sensitive 3-year-old girl who is ready to find her forever home! Babirusa arrived with our Humane Law Enforcement team on March 2, 2026, and has been patiently waiting for her special someone. She likes to take life at her own pace and can be a little unsure about new people and unfamiliar places. Her future family should be ready to move slowly and let her warm up in her own time. With gentle introductions, patience, and lots of encouragement, Babirusa's fun personality can truly shine! She loves zooming around and then settling in for some cuddles on your lap.

Ideal Home

Babirusa is looking for a quiet home where everyone can respect her boundaries. She would do best in a home without young children (10+) as she can be a bit timid at first.

Ongoing Health

Babirusa has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Transporation

Babirusa is located at the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA Oceanside Campus for Dogs in Oceanside, CA. Transportation may be available.
