Meet Bonbon!
Bonbon is an adorable 2-year-old Poodle - Chihuahua mix weighing about 13 pounds. He's a small dog with a big personality – active, loyal, and very devoted to his people. Bonbon can be a little nervous when meeting someone for the first time, but once he feels safe, his loving and protective nature really shines. He may bark at strangers initially, simply because he likes to alert his people when someone unfamiliar is around. He is a very social dog and does well with cats, other dogs, children, men, and women. With a little patience, Bonbon quickly becomes a sweet and affectionate companion.
Bonbon's story is one of resilience. He was found wandering the streets, dirty and covered in fleas. Despite his rough start, his loving spirit remained intact. Now he's safe and ready for a family who will give him the stability and love he deserves. He would thrive in a home that enjoys an active little dog with a loyal heart. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will always be happy to see you and stay close to your side, Bonbon may be the perfect match for you.
Ideal Home
Bonbon would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. He would do best with families who have an open conscience about the needs of rescued street animals and who have experience in dog behavior and training. A high level of tolerance and patience for rescued puppies is also important.
Ongoing Health
Bonbon has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated with DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella, dewormed, and tested heartworm negative. He comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Bonbon is not house-trained. Significant patience and understanding are needed as he adjusts to a new home.

Transportation
Bonbon is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, and is ready to travel to the East Coast and PNW if adopted.
