Macy

Macy is a 10-year-old, 60-pound chocolate lady who checks every possible box! She is calm, sweet, and loves everyone she meets. Macy is leash-trained and house-trained. She doesn't need a crate because she's such a refined lady; she wouldn't dream of being destructive! Macy loves to watch people walk by and will sometimes give them a little "shout-out." She enjoys being as close to her people as possible, observing everything around her without being overly participatory.

Ideal Home

Macy would do fine with children, but she's a bit too sophisticated for roughhousing or kids who don't understand she's not a young pup. She is great with both dogs and cats and has even been helping with the kittens in her foster home, often letting them sit between her paws and play with her ears.

Ongoing Health

Macy isn't a big fan of stairs, but with the help of Galliprant, she's able to manage the steps in her foster home.

Training & Support

Macy is a lovely old girl who is still getting used to being in a new home. She will have to adjust again when she is adopted, but she really just goes with the flow. She gives a little bark in the morning when she wants to go out and have her breakfast.
