Ronald

Handsome brindle boy seeking fresh start and love! Ronald is a Shepherd mix, approximately 1.5 years old and weighs 57 lbs. He ended up in a shelter through no fault of his own and is now looking for his forever home. Ronald is in his prime and has plenty of energy to burn on sniffy walks and adventures. He would love to make new pup pals, have opportunities to run and play, enjoy quality kibble, and a comfy dog bed. Most importantly, he wants to belong, be safe, and be loved. In return, he promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship.

Ongoing Health

Ronald tested positive for heartworms, but he is receiving treatment. Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites. If left untreated, it is life-threatening, but after treatment, dogs should suffer no significant long-term effects as long as they are kept on monthly heartworm preventative. Dogs that have been treated for heartworm can resume full active and normal lives, but need to be kept calm for 4-6 weeks after treatment. We are happy to discuss where in the treatment process Ronald is currently.

Training & Support

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
