Cuteness overload warning! Have you ever seen puppies as cute as these babies? Born May 3rd, Calix is a part Shih Tzu, Pug, and Dachshund mix. This adorable pup is a male and weighs approximately 3.5 lbs. He was born in the South Texas area, along the Texas/Mexico border and was surrendered to us 2 weeks ago as his owners could no longer keep him. Calix is a happy puppy! He loves to be around humans and please anyone he is around. He is super-duper playful and gets the cutest butt wiggles ever. His butt goes completely to the side when he's excited. Calix loves his toys and, he loves to cuddle and just life itself. He is VERY well socialized and would likely do nothing to stop burglars besides maybe wag his tail and ask for treats and pets. He is VERY foot motivated and loves all food and treats passed his way.
Ideal Home
Calix is still just a young baby and will need training, exercise (as much as his little body can handle), patience, and lots of love and care.
Ongoing Health
Calix is current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, microchipped, and current on de-wormer. He will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.
Training & Support
Calix will need training, exercise, patience, and lots of love and care. He is very foot and food motivated.

Calix is currently located in Texas. Transport is available to the Northeast US every 2-3 weeks to the following locations: Albany, NY; Wells, VT and Brattleboro, VT; Nashua, NH; Willington, CT, Stamford, CT, and Dayville, CT; Steubenville, OH, Cincinnati, OH, and Grove City, OH; Grove City, PA and Washington, PA (on hold until further notice); Ridgefield, NJ and Mt Laurel, NJ; Emmitsburg, MD and Elkton, MD; Falls Church, VA and Glenn Allen, VA.
