Georgey is an 11-month-old pup weighing approximately 32 lbs. While we don't know his exact breed mix, we suspect he's a mix of Australian Kelpie with Lab or Catahoula. He's petite and seems to be his full adult size. Georgey arrived in foster care in March 2025, after being born on a ranch in South Texas. He and his brother, Johnny, were the only ones surrendered, and we don't know what happened to the rest of their litter or their parents.
Georgey absolutely loves other dogs of all sizes and is a very submissive and pleasing boy who thrives on acceptance. He's the class clown, always eager to try new things and enjoys playing with his toys in the yard. He's a relaxed and easy-going companion who enjoys following his people around. Georgey can get a little jealous when other dogs are playing and he's kenneled, often letting out sad whimpers to be let out. He's a toy enthusiast and his tough toys are a must, as he enjoys having many pieces of one toy. He gets along well with cats and is friendly towards children, strangers, and all humans.
Ideal Home
Georgey would love a home with another dog or dogs to play with. He'd also enjoy a kiddie pool to splash in and opportunities for walks to explore new sights and smells. He's a great fit for most types of households.
Ongoing Health
Georgey is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and dewormer. He has received a 30-day course of antibiotics for heartworm and will need to remain on heartworm prevention for 12-16 months, followed by a retest. He will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.
Training & Support
Georgey loves his toys so much that he tends to break them into many pieces. Tough toys are highly recommended for him.

Georgey is currently located in South Texas. He can be transported to various locations in the Central US and the East Coast every 2-3 weeks.
