Nona is a 1-year-old, 50 lb, spayed female Staffie mix who is full of playful puppy energy and growing more confident every day. She's a sturdy little dog with a big personality, always ready for zoomies in the backyard or a happy greeting with a flying leap. Nona loves to be near her people, with a happy wiggle and a wagging tail that shows her excitement. She's social and enjoys meeting new friends, and she did wonderfully when she met a child recently. Nona is clever and loves to solve puzzles, and she's highly motivated by toys and treats, making training a joy. She's already mastered "sit" and is working on her leash manners. Nona is crate and potty trained and is a bit of a shy watchdog, sounding the alarm for anything unfamiliar. Her adorable underbite only adds to her charm.
Ideal Home
Nona would do well in a calm home with respectful, well-mannered children who understand how to interact with an older puppy. She would thrive with a confident canine companion who is respectful of personal space and happy to share the spotlight, but she would also be perfectly happy as an only pet.

Transportation
Nona is currently being fostered in Austin, TX. She can transport out of state when matched with an approved adopter. Transport is included in the adoption donation and runs every few weeks.
