Hi, I'm Linus! I'm a 3-year-old boy with a heart full of love, just waiting to share it with my forever family. My early life wasn't the kindest, and I carry a few scars as a reminder of that. But after two wonderful months in my foster home, I'm learning what it means to be a safe, loved, and brave dog! I've gained some much-needed weight, completed my heartworm treatment, and I'm blossoming more each day. My foster mom describes me as a sweet, gentle boy who adores snuggling, playing with toys (I'm still discovering how much fun they are!), napping, and following her around. I've even been a fantastic temporary house guest for other fosters, proving I can be a perfect companion in any home. I live happily with a cat and another dog in my foster home, and while I'm getting along great, slow introductions in a new home will help me feel super safe. Walks are a joy, and I love soaking up the sun in the backyard. I'm crate trained and sleep soundly through the night, and I'm pretty sure I'll be comfortable being out of the crate once I've settled into my new environment.

Ideal Home

A loving home where I can continue to build my confidence and trust. I enjoy the company of both cats and dogs, and I'm a good boy on a leash.

Ongoing Health

I've received heartworm treatment and am working on gaining weight. I'm otherwise healthy and ready for a happy life!

Training & Support

I'm crate trained and potty trained. I'm still learning how to play with toys and showing more of my personality every day. Gentle introductions to new pets in my new home will help me feel secure.
