Meet Akira!

This gorgeous 5.5-year-old Staffordshire mix weighs around 60lbs and has a heart as big as her paws. Akira was rescued from a euthanasia list with mere minutes to spare and has been patiently waiting for her forever home for nearly nine months. We can't understand why this sweet girl hasn't found her perfect match yet! Akira is fully crate-trained and knows her basic commands. She has the most adorable puppy-dog eyes and her greatest desire is to be your devoted companion, snuggling up close. She's a true love bug who believes she's a tiny lap dog! You'll often find her napping on a comfy dog bed, ready for a leisurely walk. Akira is a good listener, follows commands well, and takes treats with gentle grace. To keep herself entertained, she enjoys chewing on bones or tossing her plush toys from her bed and then pouncing on them.

Ideal Home

Akira enjoys the company of calm, submissive dogs, but her ultimate dream is to be the one and only apple of your eye. She would be content as the sole canine in her new home.
