About Yogi Bear

Yogi might be the loyal, easygoing, and quietly devoted companion you've been searching for! This 5-year-old Lab/Shar-Pei mix weighs around 63 pounds and boasts the softest chestnut coat and a sweet, slightly wrinkled face that always seems to be smiling. Yogi has a calm, grounded presence and forms strong bonds with her people, happily keeping you company. She's friendly and loving, though she may take a few minutes to warm up to new faces. Once she's comfortable, she's affectionate, fun, and incredibly easy to be around, settling into your routine without any fuss.

Ideal Home

Yogi is a low-maintenance and adaptable dog who enjoys her daily walks and playtime but is equally happy relaxing at home. She would do well in a house or apartment, as long as she gets regular exercise. She can thrive as an only dog or with other calm, easygoing dogs, and she has done well with cats. Yogi would do best in a home with older, respectful children and someone who appreciates a dog who bonds deeply and wants to be part of your world.

Ongoing Health

Yogi is currently heartworm positive and has begun treatment. She will need a committed adopter who can continue her care, but she is otherwise a healthy and wonderful dog ready for her next chapter.

Training & Support

Yogi is fully potty trained and crate trained, settling easily in her crate. She walks well on a leash with just occasional reminders.
