Sammy-his BFF is roomy

Sammy is an 11-year-old Beagle weighing about 28 lbs. He's house-trained and leash-trained. Sammy generally gets along with other dogs, but he can be a bit too interested in very small dogs (8 lbs and under) and may get possessive of his food. He takes treats gently. Sammy has a lovely lemon-colored coat that hints at his age, and he may have been a chocolate tri-color as a younger dog. He'd do well in a home with older children, but he's not suited for very young ones. A video of Sammy is available to view. We recommend that he continue to receive rescue remedy or CBD oil. Sammy would be happy as an only dog or with a calm canine companion. He recently bonded with a small male mix, and they adore each other, making them a wonderful potential pair.

Ideal Home

Sammy would do best in a home with older children. He can be too interested in very small dogs and may get possessive over food. He would be happy as an only dog or with a calm canine pal.

Ongoing Health

We recommend Sammy continue to receive rescue remedy or CBD oil.

Sammy is house-trained and leash-trained. He can get upset over food, but he takes treats nicely.
