Kato

Kato is a 9-year-old Lab mix who came to our rescue alongside her sister Coco after their owner passed away. This sweet, friendly girl greets new people with a wildly wagging tail and an open heart. Kato enjoys a good play session and a little roughhousing, but she's also wonderfully easygoing and low-maintenance. She's eager to please, knows "sit" and "down" like a pro, and is house-trained with excellent manners. She's fantastic with her foster family's young kids, who adore her just as much as she adores them. Kato has bursts of playful energy that are always followed by lazy sunbathing or a cozy nap. If you're looking to open your home to a loving, loyal companion who will bring all the joy and all the snuggles, Kato is ready to meet you.

Kato would thrive in a home where she can enjoy a relaxed pace of life.

Ongoing Health

Kato has some arthritis and occasionally walks with a slight limp. She is comfortable and happy with her joint supplements and medication.

Training & Support

Kato is house-trained and has excellent manners. She knows "sit" and "down."
