Roxie

Roxie is a sweet, shy 4-year-old girl who came to us when her owner had to move into a nursing home. She's a quiet observer who blossoms with a gentle approach. Roxie gets along well with other dogs and is even fine with cats! She's also okay with children, but a bustling home with very young kids might be a bit overwhelming for her sensitive nature. She does have a clear preference for men and would do best in a home with a confident, resident dog to be her companion and canine role model. Roxie walks beautifully on a leash and absolutely adores car rides!

Ideal Home

Roxie would thrive in a mature, calm home. A single-male household or a home with a patient female who understands her need to adjust at her own pace would be ideal. She needs a confident, resident dog to help her learn the ropes and a securely fenced yard for her safety.

Ongoing Health

Roxie is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. She has tested negative for heartworms and intestinal parasites. Roxie recently had a dental procedure, and due to her breed, regular dental care may be an ongoing expense to consider.

Training & Support

Roxie is a bit shy and needs a patient human to help her gain confidence. She would benefit greatly from a confident, resident dog to show her the ropes.
