About Chucky

Chucky is a petite little guy in need of a foster or adoptive home! Chucky arrived in Wisconsin this past Wednesday, unpacked his bags, brought his best puppy-dog eyes, and fully expected someone to fall in love with him by now. Instead, this sweet boy is still waiting for a foster or forever home. Chucky's story began just before Halloween when he was found abandoned in a box near a community mailbox. He was only 5-6 weeks old, covered in fleas, loaded with parasites, and struggling to survive. A kind Good Samaritan stepped in, and from that moment on, his life changed forever. With good food, veterinary care, and lots of love, Chucky blossomed into the happy, healthy pup he is today. Now all he needs is a family. At 8-9 months old and about 25 lbs, Chucky is the perfect size for just about any adventure. He's playful without being overwhelming, affectionate without being clingy, and always ready to make new friends. Chucky has never met a toy he didn't love or a person he didn't want to say hello to. He greets life with a wagging tail, a happy heart, and the kind of optimism only dogs seem capable of having. But right now, what he needs most isn't another toy. He needs a couch to nap on. He needs a family to love. He needs a foster home willing to give him a safe place while he waits for forever. Foster needed ASAP. Adopter wanted even more.
