Meet Blue!

Blue is a handsome Australian Cattle Dog mix with a unique freckled coat and a gentle, thoughtful personality. This sweet boy may take a little time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he becomes a loyal, affectionate companion who loves to give kisses and relax by your side. Blue was saved from a euthanasia list in Houston, Texas, and is now safe in foster care while waiting for his forever home.

Ideal Home

Blue would do best as the only pet in the home, where he can feel secure and fully bond with his person. He tends to warm up more quickly to women but, with patience and consistency, can build trust with anyone willing to give him the time he needs. He gets nervous during storms and will need extra comfort and reassurance when it rains.

Ongoing Health

Blue is fully vetted, neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and has been maintained on heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Blue is crate trained, quick to go potty, and has great manners. He takes treats gently, though he can be a little picky, and enjoys a calm, structured routine. With a calm, understanding home, he continues to grow in confidence and trust.
