Puppup

Meet Puppup, a 1-year-old male Chihuahua mix who came to us as a shelter transfer. He’s a sweet, gentle, and very friendly little guy who loves people and won’t hesitate to hop into a lap for pets and snuggles. Curious by nature, he enjoys exploring his surroundings. While he’s not much into toys yet, squeaky toys and balls seem to catch his attention, and once he’s comfortable in his forever home, his playful side may shine through. He is treat motivated and will even do a little trick, standing up on his hind legs to politely wait for his treat. Puppup would make the perfect sidekick and can’t wait for the right person to find him!

Training & Support

Puppup is treat motivated and can already perform a cute trick for a reward! He may need some encouragement to engage more with toys as he settles into his new environment.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Adoption and visiting hours are Tuesday-Saturday, Noon-4pm.
• You may visit dogs over 4 months old during adoption hours prior to completing an adoption application.
• If you live 1.5 hours or more away, you can complete an adoption application by phone.
• Required documents include vet records for current pets, proof of home ownership (property tax or mortgage document) for homeowners, or landlord’s information and a copy of the lease for renters.
• A valid ID showing you are 21 years or older is required.
• If you currently have dogs, a meet and greet with Puppup is required after your application is approved.
• We cannot guarantee the availability of any pet and do not hold animals.

Transporation

Puppup is located at our shelter. We offer transport for approved adopters.
