Sophie

Sophie is a sweet 6 and a half year old Lab mix who has been with us for about 5 years. She was surrendered after her owners moved and left her behind. Thankfully, a kind neighbor stepped in to help, providing her with blankets and food until we could bring her into our care. Sophie has spent most of her time in a boarding facility, and while she can be a little shy at first, she blossoms into a loving companion once she feels safe and trusts you. She absolutely adores going for walks and playing with her toys, bringing so much joy to her day.

Ideal Home

Sophie would thrive in a calm, adult-only household where she can feel secure. She's not comfortable around children and prefers a quiet environment with not too much coming and going, allowing her to truly relax and bond with her people.

Ongoing Health

Sophie is spayed, vaccinated, and has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Sophie is house-trained. She's not trusting of children and needs slow introductions to new people to build her confidence. She would do best as the only pet in the home, as she is not good with other dogs or cats.
