Meet Veda! This perfectly playful puppy approaches life with a "Wait... we can PLAY in that too?!" attitude. Mud puddles, new dog friends, couch cuddles afterward – Veda believes every moment is an opportunity for fun and affection. She's pure sunshine wrapped in velvet fur, and her most charming feature is her giant, mismatched ears – one stands at attention, the other flops dramatically, making her look like a cartoon character brought to life.
Ideal Home
Veda would absolutely LOVE an adventurous home ready for hiking, beach days, camping trips, lake weekends, and backyard sprinkler fun. She's curious, playful, and outgoing, eager to experience life with her people. She could do well in an apartment with an active family but would truly thrive in a home where she can explore and be involved in everyday life. Bonus points if there's water nearby, as she believes puddles are a personality trait! While she met a child briefly and was sweet, she can jump when excited, so older or dog-savvy children are recommended.
Ongoing Health
Veda is a healthy puppy. Her adoption fee includes all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Veda is treat-motivated and loves to learn, making training a rewarding experience. She exhibits excellent social cues with other dogs and was respectful and curious with a cat, showing potential to be a kitty-friendly companion. Further testing with a sleepover can be arranged. She is currently learning manners and may benefit from continued guidance on appropriate play as she grows.

Transportation
Veda is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
