Jake is a 6-year-old hound mix who is always smiling and approaches life with a happy disposition and a wagging tail. He was surrendered when his family could no longer care for him. Jake is a typical hound who loves to sniff everything on his walks and in the yard. He enjoys playing ball and chasing toys, and his leash walking skills are good. While he can get a little too excited and pull when following a scent, a quick reminder about his manners brings him right back. According to his previous owner, Jake is good with cats, dogs, and children, making him a wonderful addition to a family. At 6 years old, he is beyond the puppy phase and has plenty of energy for any adventure.
