Meet Thomas! He's a 1-year-old shepherd with a big personality and even bigger feelings. Thomas is a smart, curious, and energetic boy who's always ready for an adventure. He's a bit of a busybody, always investigating and eager to be involved in everything you do. He loves walks and is very affectionate, sometimes to the point of wanting to be right by your side!

Ideal Home

Thomas would love a home with another playful dog to be his companion. However, he is not a fan of cats. Because Thomas has shown some escape artist tendencies, a secure yard or setup is a must to keep him safely at home. He would do best in a home without young children due to some resource guarding behaviors and his need for clear boundaries.

Ongoing Health

Thomas is a healthy boy.

Training & Support

Thomas is still learning his manners, especially when it comes to leash walking, and will need consistent training. He is a smart, treat-motivated dog who already knows "sit," and he truly wants to bond with his person. He can be a bit anxious at times, so he needs a confident and committed human who understands shepherd breeds, is ready to provide structure and consistency, and can set clear boundaries.
