Alder

Alder is a shy but friendly 3-year-old gentleman who came to us from Texas. He's eager to show his excitement, though he's still figuring out how. He likely didn't receive much affection or attention before, but he certainly craves it now and will probably master the Pyr paw in no time!

Ideal Home

Alder would do best in a home with a calmer, playful dog, as he's still learning how to interact with canine friends. He's a bit protective of his food, so separate feeding will be necessary. He's mild-mannered and would likely be fine with children who are past the "screeching years." A fenced yard would be ideal, but he walks well on a leash and would adapt to a home without one, provided he gets regular walks. He is not a dog who will stay close to home if let outside unsupervised.
